About Double T Media

Double T Media was established in 2024 as a photography and digital media website focused on dirt track racing. It is owned and operated by Brant Thurmond and his wife Anissa Thurmond.

Brant is passionate about sports in general and is particularly passionate about dirt racing. He is a seasoned photographer and sports writer located in Breckenridge, Tx. He has a combined 15 years experience dating back to his college days at South Plains College in Levelland, Tx.

Brant serves as the team photographer for Touring Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) driver Fred Wojtek, handling all team photography, video and written race recap stories. Wojtek is set to start his third season of the TOMS series in 2025.

This site is predominately used to highlight Wojtek’s racing through photos, video and written stories. 

In the “gallery” tab, you will find photos from a few races during the 2024 season.

Brant also covers Breckenridge varsity high school football for the online publication “The Breckenridge Texan” (http://www.breckenridgetexan.com). He has covered each season since 2018, on top of working a regular fulltime job during the week.

Prior to his time at the Breckenridge Texan, Brant was the Sports Editor of the Breckenridge American newspaper, in Breckenridge, Tx from Aug. 2013 until his departure in Oct. 2016. He covered all sports at all levels, including the Breckenridge Junior League All-Star baseball team at the 2016 State Tournament in Abilene, Tx. 

Brant was responsible for covering Breckenridge ISD athletics from junior high up to the varsity level and beyond. 

Also while at the Breckenridge American, Brant covered multiple breaking news events, shot photos and produced quality stories. He also covered other clubs and organizations in the Breckenridge community.

Brant has also served as a Sports Writer for the Levelland-Hockley County News-Press in Levelland, Tx.

During his time in Levelland, Brant covered Levelland High School athletics along with seven other surrounding school districts. He traveled Austin, Tx in 2011 to cover Smyer and Whitharral High School in the Class 1A UIL Girl’s State Basketball Tournament. 

Brant majored in Broadcast Journalism at South Plains College. He is experienced in all aspects of developing a newscast for Broadcast. He was a member of the award-winning college newspaper, The Plainsman Press where he served as Sports Editor during the spring 2007 semester. He won a third place page design award for his efforts at the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association conference.
